THE SKIING

The skiing in Chatel is some of the best in the whole Portes du Soleil region, so you do not have to leave the resort to have a wonderful holiday, but we recommend that you venture out into the whole of the region. SKI GUIDING

Is there anything more frustrating than discovering a superb run the day before you travel home? Our free ski guiding service (for intermediates and above) will ensure that this does not happen to you on a holiday with us.

• We have huge experience of skiing in Chatel and Portes du Soleil

• We can lead you to:

  • the best snow conditions

  • the least crowded slopes

  • the most beautiful views

  • the best restaurants

• Usually two groups each day

  • travelling at a speed to suit the group

  • wherever possible, meeting for coffee and lunch

• Exploring local pistes on the first day

• An additional 3 days guiding further afield, maybe to Morzine and Les Gets, conditions permitting

• All inclusive in the cost of your holiday

• NB - only available if staying in L'Etringa

LIFT PASSES

Chatel and the Portes du Soleil have an excellent 'hands free' ski pass. Photo required only for passes for 8 days or more. We can usually arrange for your passport photo to be scanned.

LESSONS

Whether skiing for the first time or looking for a way to 'get off that plateau', one of Chatel's ski schools will be able to help you. We recommend that you pre-book to avoid disappointment. CHILDREN

The International Ski School run classes for 4 & 5 year olds and there is a Kindergarten for 3 to 6 year olds - Club Piou Piou.

EQUIPMENT HIRE

A wide range of equipment is available to hire in the many hire shops in Chatel. Please talk to us about your requirements, whether you are a skier or a boarder, hiring for an adult or a child, we will advise you to the best of our ability.

Protective helmets are also available for hire, if required.
